Why are people so nasty about Britney Spears? So she mimed on X Factor? Big deal. If she had sung live and not been pitch perfect she would have got moaned at for that as well. There have been plenty times when she has mimed at award shows etc.

Been reading some comments on The Sun website, people saying things like "Go home, we dont wnat you here," Lovely eh? and dont speak for everyone please. I actuall enjoyed it and still like her. The most annoying comment was the one saying she has a fat arse. To me that is just total pettiness. For one, she doesnt and if you think she does then you ned help and ned to be shown exactly what a fat arse is. Its a dangerous thing to say because, ok, she might not see it but young girls who are her size or bigger may do and then get paranoid about their body shape.

Transporter 3 Interview and More

Jason Statham returns as Frank Martin in Transporter 3 on 26th November (5th December in UK). This time Frank has been pressurised into transporting the kidnapped daughter of Leonid Vasilev, who is the head of the Enviromental Protectin Agency for the Ukraine. He must transport Valentina from Marseilles through Stuttgart and Budapest until thye end up in Odessa on the Black Sea. With the help of Inspector Tarconi, Frank must also, along the way, contend with those who who strong-armed him into taking the job, agents sent by Vasilev to intercept him and the general lack of co-operation by his passenger. Frank and Valentina fall for each other despite her cynical disposition and his resistance to get involved.

Kelly Brook Sparkles at Perfume Launch and Christmas Lights Switch On

Kelly Brook has been busy. She launched her new perfume before later switching on the Christmas lights in Bond Street, London.

Vivacious is the latest perfume from the 28 year-old and she arrived at Boots in Oxford Street looking gorgeous in a dress by Suzie Turner Couture made with real 24-carat gold Holland and Sherry fabric.

She said of her perfume, "it's fun, sexy, demure and sophisticated. I like to think that I can be those things when I wear it."

Later it was time for the host of Dirty Dancing: Time of Your Life to switch on the Christmas lights in Bond Street.

Thousands of people gathered to watch Kelly, who was joined by three young patients from The Great ormond St hospital for the ceremony.

She wore a figure-hugging mermaid dress and matching solitaire earrings and bracelet from Bond st store, Asprey.

She said, "this is amazing, it;s such an honour to be here, for all you guys to be here in the cold. I am so excited to turn on the lights. I hope you are all going to join me in counting down."

Obama Love at MTV Europe

The MTV Europe Music Awards 2008 have taken place in Liverpool but the show had a more American theme. I Kissed A Girl Singer Katy Perry hosted the show and started the show off by arriving dressed as an American footballer on top of a giant cherry chapstick. Another of her outfits included a short yellow dress emblazoned with sequins to make up a photo of newly elected President Barack Obama.

Members from 30 Seconds to Mars, who also helped to host the show, wore Obama t.shirts to and the end of Estelle and Kanye Wests perfroamnce of their number 1 hit American Boy showed a photo of the man of the moment on a big screen as the crowd cheered.

My Election Night Evening

I am a member of the Labour Party here in England and last night we had US Election night party in one of the function rooms at St James Park Newcastle. It was a brilliant night with lots of support for Obama. When we first arrived we got a free drink. We all had tables which were named after states in America. We were Pennsylvania. We got burgers, hot dogs etc. I am vegetarian so had vegetable burger and chips. Ben Bradshaw who is the Minister for Health was there and made a speech. There was also a band playing American style songs and some official Obama merchandise from America to buy and a raffle. I bought a poster.

Just been watching Kerry Katona on This Morning and as soon as she started to talk I though "oh here we go again." She was slurring so much and I just knew that the internet, magazines etc would be full of comments about how she is on drugs or drunk. Phillip Schofield actually asked her about this because the producers were asking him if she was ok. She says that it is due to her medication but already Ive read comments from people on another site which say she is defeinelt on something. Well maybe she is. I am not a doctor and do not know what medication she is on and what the side effects are but maybe that is the cause. I can see why people would think she was drunk but I do not like it when people simply assume something and do not look at the bigger picture.

Desperate Housewives Actor Hurt in Crash

Actor Gale Harold is in a criticial conidtion after he was involved in a motorcycle accident.

Harold plays Susan's boyfriend Jackson in Desperate Housewives. He was taken to USC Medical center, where is awaiting further tests.

The crash happened early on Tuesday morning and caused Howard to suffer from a fractured shoulder and swelling of the brain.

Marc Cherry, creator of Desperate Houswives said that he was expected to recover fully and that at least one scene would need to bewritten due to his absence.

Madonna, Guy Divorce Confirmed

Madonna's spokesperson Liz Rosenburg has confirmed that the singer and her director husband, Guy Ritchie are to divorce. In a joint statement released on behalf of the couple she said;

"Madonna and Guy Ritchie have agreed to divorce after seven-and a half- years of marriage, their representatives confirmed today. They have both requested that the media maintain respect for the family at this difficult time."

Rumours of the breakup have been going around for awhile now with sources claiming that Madonna wanted to wait til the end of her Sticky and Sweet tour in November before making any announcements. That date has apparantley been bought forward to finalise the divorce before Christmas.

Gordon Smart, The Sun newspaper's showbiz editor told Sky News that the couple have been trying for months to make the marrigae work but they have had so many arguments, particularly over the last few weeks, that it has come to the stage where they have decided to finish with the pretence.

It is thought that the divorce will not get nasty as the one between Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills did. Their wedding was a private affair and not covered in magazines like OK or Hello.

When the couple married in 2000 they are thought to have signed a pre-nuptial agreement and legal expers predict that Ritchoe could could walk away with up to £50 million.

Katie Green who quit her job after being asked to lose weight by her modelling agency has been signed up by underwear range Ultimo.

Size 12 Katie won the role to be a Wonderbra model but was asked by Premier Model Management to go on a diet but she refused to sacrifice her curves and her health, saying that she would look like "a bag of bones."

Michelle Mone, the boss of Ultimo said "Katie's figure is beautiful and she looks so sexy in out latest designs."

Pictures from Britney Spears video for her forthcoming single Womanizer have been released. The photos show Britney in a variety of disguises including a sexy secretary complete with dark, short wig and a laeather-wearing waitress with long, dark hair. We also of course see her with her trademark long, blonde hair in sexy lingerie.

The video for Womanizer will be premiered on ABC's 20/20 on Friday.

Hathaway to Play White Queen in Alice in Wonderland

Anne Hathaway has signed up for Tim Burton's version of Alice in Wonderland. She is to play the White Queen who is a kind monarch, deposed and banished by her sister, the Red Queen. This part will be played by Burton's fiancée, Helen Bonham Carter who has also starred in Sweeney Todd and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, also directed by Burton.

Another Burton favourite, Johnny Depp is to play The Mad Hatter.

The title role of Alice is to be played by a little known Australian actress called Mia Wasikowska,

The film which will be in 3D, will mix live action with animation and is set to be released in 2010.

The face of Wonderbra has resigned after being told she is too fat. Katie Green, 20 was discovered by The Daily Express but she says that she was pressured into losing weight and ordered to take a gruelling exercise programme. This is despite the fact that she was chosen to star in Wonderbra's "real women" advertising campaign.

Premier Model Management told Katie that she must lose two stone. Katie is 5ft 10 inches tall, weighs 10st 5Ibs and is a size 10. This gives her a BMI of 20.5 which is idea. A loss of two stone would bring her BMI down to 16.5 which is underweight.

She says "I was told, most of our girls are size 8. We need you to tone up. I couldnt beleive it. I said "my curves got me the Wonderbra job but now you're saying Im too fat." They told me to stop eating carbohydrates after 4pm and train in the gym everyday. But Im 5ft 10in and I would have been a bag of bones if I had gone down to a size 10."

What a load of crap! It sends out such a dangerous message to young girls out there. In no way is she fat. Asking someone of that height to get down to such low BMI is just stupid and dangerous.

Pink UK Number One

Pink has the new UK Number 1 with So What, knocking Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon into 2nd place.

The American singer also beat Oasis to the number 1 spot. They had to settle with 3rd place with The Shock of Lightning.

So What is Pink's first UK number 1 since Just Like A Pill went to the top of the charts in 2002.

Sugababes are at number 4 with Girls and reformed boy band Boyzone are at 5 with their comeback single, I Love you Anyway.

Tonight I watched The pride of Britain Awards. An awards ceremony in which normal, everyday people who have done something brave, fought a disease, helped someone etc are rewarded. Im sure for a lot of them, especially the children, sitting amongst all the celebrities would have been so much fun. I was especially impressed with a little boy who had jumped on a man's back when he stabbed his Mam, thus saving his family but what tpuched my heart was how, when Leon Jackson, Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue presented him with his award, he said how his sister loved Leon and encouraged her to get on the stage to meet him. I felt that it was such a nice thing to do when this was "his moment."

Jude Law to Play Watson

Jude Law is to play Dr Watson in Guy Ritchies' re-working of Sherlock Holmes. Robert Downley Jr plays the lead role and other cast members include Rachel McAdams (Mean Girls, The Notebook, Red Eye) as Irene Adler, Mark Strong (Revolver, Stardust) as Blackwood and Kelly Reilley (Eden Lake, Me and Orson Welles) as Mary.

Being a Jason Statham fan I am disappointed that there is not a role for him in this but I am looking forward to it anyway.

At a press conference, Ritche and producer Joel Silver revealed that the movie will ve shot for three months at various locations in London, including St Paul's cathedral and Freemason's Hall.

He said "I have a few tricks up my sleeve. It wont be a traditional Guy Ritchie thing, it will be a new Guy Ritchie thing."

He also revealed that it will have the biggest budget he as worked with and will be an adventure movie. He did however refuse to say if Holmes and Watson will wear the traditional tweed and deerstalkers.

The film is set to be released Octobr 2009

Britney Spears is certainly back to looking her best but what about the music? Well I dont think she ever really had a problem in that area. Gimme More and Piece of Me were great tracks. OK Break The Ice didnt do too well but that animee style video didnt help much. We all wanna see Britney move and do her thing. Lets hope Womanizer has a video where she does just that cos this song is def one that needs to be danced to.

Last night The inside Soap Awards took place. Here is a look at how the stars looked.

Kara Tointon
It is easy to see why Kara, who plays Dawn in EastEnders won sexiest female. She has a very pretty face but last night she unveiled a sexy new brunette hair do which suits her perfectly. The colour and shape of her dress also work well.

Lacey Turner
Lace who plays Stacey in EastEnders won Best Actress and Best Couple but Im not so keen on her choice of dress. The colour is OK but Im not so sure about them backward looking C shpes at the top. Defiently would look better without them.

Rita Simons
Rita won Best Newcomer for her role as Roxy Mitchell in EastEnders but she won't be wearing any fashion awards with this dress.

Brooke Vincent
The Coronation Street actress who plays Sophie Webster looked very grown up and glam and virtually unrecognizable.

The EastEnders actress has the ideal figure to wear a dress like this and the colour is lovely to.

I always love red dresses and the Holyoaks star looks great in this one.

I love the colours of this dress but it emphasises her weight loss and she looks like she has lost far too much weight recently.

She was asked by new York station Z100 if a tour is on the horizon. She said "oh defiently, nexy year. Around the world."

Her last album was Blackout which was released in November 2007.

Circus is due to be released on her 27th birthday - December 2nd.

She told The Daily Star newspaper in Britain that her recent US number 1 - So What had not changed people's minds about her.

"They still think Im a psycho back home. I just laugh and don't pay attention. I guess I'm pretty much all over the place, a great big mystery bag but that's my style and it's reflected in my music."

She continued to say, "I'm pretty in your face and that can work against me. People still don't get me". But I'm a regular person, I have a garden I like to relax in when Im not working. I read books. It's not all parties."

Janet Jackson has been taken to hospital after she became ill during a souncheck in Montreal.

According to W&W Public relations, the 42 year old singer is being monitored by doctors.

She hopes to be able to reschedule her show, which was due to take place last night.

Details of her illness have not been released.

Kylie films Sketch Show

Kylie Minogue has filmed a special guest apperance for a new show which is fronted by comedians Matthew Horne and James Corden from Gavin and Stacey.

She filmed her scenes on location in London yesterday (September 29th).

The show is expected to air in February 2009 on BBC3.

Ill and Fat

Promotional pictures have been released of Kelly Brook who makes her West End debut on October 13th.

She is set to play Jeannie in Neil LaBoute's hit play Fat Pig. She is taking over from Gavin and Stacey star Jonna Page.

Jeannie is aan attractive office bitch who is furious when her boyfriend Tom dumps her for a 20 stone librarian.

Fat Pig orginally opened in May at the Trafalgar Studios but due to demand, it is now transferring to London's Comedy Theatre.

Other stars include Kevin Bishop, Nicohlas Burns and Ella Smith.

Kelly last starred on the stage in Eye Contact at the Rivserside Studios.
